Jack's Balloon Party

IMAG0294

Mr. Jack is turning 1! The Well's family will be moving in a couple of weeks for Seattle so I drove down to the beehive state this weekend for my last hurrah and to celebrate Jack's Birthday. I helped my sister put on a low-key Balloon (Jack's favorite) themed party.

I thought it turned out great! Unfortunately I was having too much fun during the actual party to take pictures of the guests and the birthday boy haha. So, What do you think?

My Nephew Is Cuter Than Yours

So I was feeling adventurous a few weeks ago and drove down to the Beehive state by myself to visit my awesome sister and my adorable nephew Jack! We decided to make a hat as part of Jacks halloween costume while I was there... I'll let Lyndsey tell the world what he is going to be. anyway..... we made it from scratch, cuz we're cool like that, and it took a couple of tries but we got it to work. I had my camera handy and I'm SO glad I did! Jack has developed a reputation of making funny faces and I think I got THE BEST EVER! while we tried the hat on him- see for yourself.
1st try... a little too long

Being Creative with My Free Time

So one of the girls that I visit-teach for church is having a baby on August 17th. SO since I have all of this new found free time while I'm on summer vacation I thought I'd put it to work and make her something than just buy her something.  I found super easy directions to make these little one-ies so I thought I'd go for it.  We also went down to Utah this last weekend to visit my sister Lyndsey, who jut moved to Orem with her husband because he is starting his MBA program this august at BYU.  She recently got a sewing machine for her birthday so we tried it out on this project.  It didn't go so well and I ended up hand sewing most of them.

we made alot.... I figure I can just hold on to some for future gifts since I just found out THREE of my co-workers are SECRETLY prego!!! geez it kind of makes me feel out of the loop lol- but that DOESN'T mean I'M pregnant or am going to be anytime soon- just incase any of you were wondering.....
Thanks for all of your help seesta!!!
