I'm a sucker for Joann Fabric's sales section. Got these pretty birdies for my book shelf ($5 for both)

A couple of nights ago I invited my crafty friends Markie and Laura over to use my recently acquired Freezer Paper. Markie made a cool looking t-shirt for her husband and Laura made some super cute valentines day shirts for her daughters.
{My mess}
Don't you want to know what I made? Well too bad! You have to wait! (I know I'm so mean)
Coming Soon!

Venn Diagram Art

I am finally thinking about how I want to decorate my bedroom. My bedroom is one of the very last things on my list. No one else is really going to see much of it except my husband and I so why waste the money?I have been trying to think of some kind of cool art that I could create on my own to place above our headboard. I decided that I wanted to do a typography piece but nothing I thought of really struck me. Then today I was catching up on A Cup Of Jo and saw this! I LOVE IT!! Stay tuned and you might see me make my own version!

DIY String Chandelier

Need a cheap and easy way to make a big statement in your house? or at your wedding? Why not make your own chandelier!?
I saw these string balls on Wednesday Inc and decided to try them out. For the full directions on how to make these you can check out Jessica's blog. I'm just going to tell you some tips I learned by making these.
I did mine by myself even though Jessica says to do it with a friend- I HIGHLY suggest also to have a helper, enlist your husband or something. Also if I were you I would double the glue mix, the amount they have on the blog just was not enough. I almost couldn't make my tiny ball and couldn't make the 4th one I had planned to make.
