I Think a Cupcake Cafe is a Little Too Cool For Rexburg...

Yes its true! Rexburg has gotten COOL!!! Well sort of. In the last year or so we have gotten a Thai food restaurant AND a CUPCAKE CAFE!!! I'm sorry to say but today I finally made it in the "Coca Bean" for a cupcake. As far as cupcakes go the selection was pretty normal but still creative. The casheir also explained to me that their "Madagascar Vanilla-Vanilla" cupcake was made from this "Amazing" vanilla that they buy directly from Madagascar and its like $100 a pop for small container. I didn't fall for it- I bet you $20 it taste like any other vanilla. So I opted for the "Grasshopper" cupcake (chocolate- mint for those of you who live under a rock). It was good but I think the two flavors needed to be blended more- the mint buttercream frosting was too strong personally. Sorry I don't have a picture or it but I didn't have my camara in my purse today, and I finished it on my nice sunny walk home. It definitely inspired me! I created 3 new cupcake recipes in my head while I devoured it. Hopefully I will have an occasion to try them out soon cuz- its killing me! I almost went out and bought stuff to make some cupcakes today but at the last minute common sense hit me in the head and I resisted. Who knows...
