Attempting to Impress

So tomorrow in my Communication "Inter-personal" class everyone is to bring in a few items that represent them. My professor split us up in groups to share in and he let us choose one other item to bring- my group decided that we want to bring in a food that represents us. PERFECT!!!! so of course.... I baked CUPCAKES! This morning was my morning off so I ran to wal-mart to pick up some odds and ends and then I started baking!!! I decided to make Pumpkin Chocolate-chip cupcakes with cream cheese frosting this time- I love anything pumpkin chocolat-chip, and baking so it works for my project right?! I learned from my first attempt with my cream cheese frosting recipe and made a pretty dang good batch this time. Since I'm too cheap to buy official icing bags or tips I just filled a plastic baggie and cut a corner off. I didn't need any thing fancy or intricate- just something to get the job done. For my garnish I had a Hershey's chocolate bar laying around so I decided to shave it on the top- you just use a clean vegetable peeler.

I'm not going to lie- I'm pretty proud of how they came out =)
