James King is a hero to me. If any of you haven't watched the news lately one of the most inspiring things happened today. An 11 year old girl- Nadia Bloom had gone missing this last Friday near her home in central florida and all of America feared the worst. Nadia suffers from a form of autism and loves to explore nature but her family and friends feared she might have gotten carried away exploring and had gotten lost in the swaps near her home. Search parties were sent all over the area to find her but after 3 days many lost hope. Early today (on the forth day of her missing) a Christian man James King decided that he would assist the search party. His strategy was a little different though- He decided to turn to God for help. After lots of prayer and faith Mr. King set out to let the Lord guide him to help find Nadia. And he did! He found Nadia deep in a swamp no one had thought to look in, after following what he has reported as a voice or divine guidance. James King is a hero to me- not just because he found Nadia but because he did what I don't think most people do- He turned to the Lord first for guidance and help. He is an example to me of the blessings we all can receive when we put our faith in the Lord. I don't usually use this blog to discuss religion but as I watched this story tonight on the News I felt strongly to spread it because I think we can all learn from it or be inspired by it. James King insists that he shouldn't be called a hero..... But hes one in my book!
