it is SO hard to get a good photo with BOTH of these little wigglers
this is the only photo I could get with Journee smiling =)
Then Rachel and I took the kids to her parents house, and then just us girls went out. We went to see "New in Town" which was pretty cute (I laughed pretty hard through most of it- and it wasn't too cheezy) and then we went out to lunch at "Red Robin" which just opened like a week or two before then. I really getting in the "girl time," I have realized with school, work, and just being married, I don't get in nearly enough of this as I probably should!
We picked up the kids and played at home till Leslie, my mother-in-law arived from Utah. It was so good to see her cuz we barely ever get to. The boys got home later that night, just in time for Rachel & Kodi's adult session of their Stake Confrence that weekend. ELDER Ballard was in town for it and was the closing speaker. Both saturday and sunday sessions were AWESOME! I was so glad we were able to attend.
After the saturday night session Kodi was trying to get us out of the heavily congested parking lot, but didn't make too much progress. It took us like 15-20 just to get out. We finally got out on the street but we ran into the other exit for the parking lot. A guy walked up and signaled that we needed to wait for a car to exit. We did, and after it was out the man who signaled to us walked up to the car and said we could write in our journals that we let a General Authority pass in his car. I just have to say Elder Ballard drives a pretty sweet caddy =)
