So Faith Hill just came out with a new Christmas CD and I'm not really a big fan. There is one song on it however I have fallen in LOVE with! its called "a baby changes everything" (which I have on the side bar of this blog now so listen to it if you haven't yet). when I started listening to it I thought it was just another country song about a knocked-up teenager but as I listened to the whole thing it touched my heart. Not only is it a great song but it declares to the world what this time is really all about and how a baby changed everything!
I thank God every year for Christmas time. Not because of the gift giving or even because of fun tradition. I thank him because every year we experience a time when people are more giving, they take a break from a life of selfishness and reach out to others in need. Also people are reminded of Christ and that they aren't alone,that there is a greater power out there watching over each and everyone of us. It is a time of family, of love, of charity, of warmth, and of light, the only true light- Christ. May we all be experiencing a change of heart this merry season. Merry Christmas!
