Mouse Pad Giveaway

DSC03028Writing

So you know how I have a sweet new computer? Well we need a sweet new mouse pad to go with it and I decided to make my own!

What You Need
-Fabric (normal cotton print does splendid)
-Mouse Pad (or cork board cut to the same size)
-"Heat-N-Bond" type fabric bonder
-Hot clothes iron

Optional:
Non-skid material
Hot Glue Gun

{I realize I also have "Super 77" in this photo. I was planning on using it- its amazing stuff- but when I went to use it the bottle had some crazy-scary flammable warnings on it and since I was using a lot of heat in this project I didn't want to risk it}

Group1

1)Peel off the original fabric or covering of mouse pad
2) Cut fabric about the same size at the mouse pad with about a 1 inch border
3)Apply Heat-N-Bond (the same size as the fabric) to the wrong side of fabric, follow directions on product. Peel off paper of Heat-N-Bond.
4)Center mouse pad to fabric and apply heat to seal Heat-N-Bond
5) Clip the corners, Fold them up one by one and iron down, do the same with the long, straight edges.

(optional)6) I also hot-glued non-skid to the back of the mouse pad to keep it still on my desk.

It was so easy- I made THREE!! And I decided that I will do my first giveaway this week! 2 lucky readers will get to choose one of my mouse pads! Just leave a comment on this post- I will draw a lucky winner on Friday!

I could definitely use a cute mouse pad, especially since I don't have one at all.

Probably sound like a broken record, but again, you are amazing! I would never think of making my own mouse pads. And if I did think of it, I would probably still be too lazy to actually follow through. These are super cute, too! I love them!

PS-I miss you!
