Guess what happened to ME today!? Actually let me back up. Its been a pretty warm and rainy fall lately- which is very unusual for Rexburg this time of year- I was ecstatic! Of course it didn't last and we paid for the good weather with FEET and FEET of snow being dumped all Sunday long on this poor helpless little town. Look at what I woke up to-
yeah that's a HUGE snow drift covering my front steps... Jesse did snow-removal for his boss and said they found alot of 4-5 feet high snow drifts!
Here is where my story gets good- I was out running errands this morning, driving extra slow, extra careful and I had MY FIRST CAR WRECK EVER!!!
I slid into a curd while making a turn...... yeah- thats my wheel all bent in. There is alot to be thankful for- I didn't run into anyone else, kill anyone, kill myself, and my lovely husband didn't yell at me! Just poor Sally (that is the name of my car) is broken now =(
I was working today listening to my Pandora station when the Modest Mouse song "Blame it on the Tetons" came on. I laughed way hard. yes I will blame it on stupid Idaho weather!

Oh my gosh, girl! I'm glad you are okay - and no one else was involved. I was supposed to go out today to go grocery shopping but opted to stay home. Partly 'cuz I didn't want to take Liv out in the wind and partly because it was just to icky even for a born-and-raised Idahoan! Is it fixable? Worth fixing? I hope you can everything worked out and you aren't out a car too long.
